Despite a token participation in inaugural APFA seasons 1920 and 1921, the Flyers weren't fly by night. The team existed in one form or another for two decades, beginning 1905, known primarily as the Congerville Flyers. One of two teams based in Indiana to charter the NFL, in a modest town at that.
